Alhamdulillah some friends advise for me to look into Islamic Finance and Economy instead of Islamic History completed my degree and continue my journey in Islamic Finance. ok this is not about my biography its supposed to be my travel log but written a bit later due to work commitment. the union of Arab Stock Exchanges is having their annual conferences in Cairo, ...yes my Boss sending me there.
First time in African Continent, it was in December 2009 indeed very nice cool weather in Cairo. It took me 7 hours to reach Dubai transit for few hours than continue another four hours journey to Qahirah. Because its business travel i travel alone. Indeed at first a bit scared traveling to other countries alone but it was indeed a memorable experience.
On arrival in Cairo Airport took my stuff and head for the cab, im staying at the event hotel Cairo Grand Hyatt, but upon arrival cant see anybody waiting to pick me up, oh no panic kicks in, thou i know some arabic but i dont know Egyptian dialect not only that dunno where to head to the cab driver can bring me anywhere they want. Manage to find a cab again its not an official cab in Malaysia we call it prebet sapu where the name come i never check.

Alhamdulillah now in a cab heading to city centre , Grand Hyatt Cairo is located in the city centre beside the famous River Nile....reminds me my friend word" whoever drink from the Nile he definitely return" hmmm after looking into the Niles I wont drink it as I might end up not returning back to KL.

to fill up time from Airport , trying to test my standard arabic converstaion that i have learned since kindergarden. It was indeed nice experience , very nice driver but the problem is he did not speak standard arabic ie Fushah, when i open my mouth , he start saying "La La anta Fushah Ma A'rif fushah" you speak standard arabic i dunno".
We cant understand each other but since we are talking using two different vocabulary and sign language we end up talking about mobile phone. He complained about unavailability of good phone and affordable price, thus many people end up using mobile phone from China.
Not to forget among topic discuss in the cab... malaysia ..Mahathir Good ! Mahathir Mubarak Good Friend! Its 2009 that time...PM has changed twice... with not properly Arabic words and verbs... " ya akhi, Mahathir laisa Rais Wazir, Mahathir Khalas...Al Aan Wazir Gaddid" Jaddid- Gaddid...as if i understand egyptian dialect..
